Boston was my home for twenty years including the decade of the Big Dig Project. ┬áThe Zakim Bridge emerged not only as the iconic signature of that project but of Boston itself. Lenny Zakim was a Jewish-American anti-poverty leader in Boston – a “bridge-builder” for harmony between the races. He died young from cancer in 1999
